MARBELLA, OCTOBER 17, 2023. The Association of Merchants and Professionals of the Casco Antiguo de Marbella (ACOPROCAMAR) signed an agreement on Tuesday, October 17, with TELPARK, the company responsible for the administration of the Central Market Parking in Marbella.
The purpose of this agreement is to encourage Marbella residents to make their purchases and leisure activities comfortably, more affordably, and enjoyably in the Casco Antiguo de Marbella. Customers making purchases at establishments affiliated with our Association will be offered one hour of free parking in the Market parking lot for purchases exceeding 10 euros.
The agreement between TELPARK and ACROPOCAMAR was signed on Tuesday, October 17, by José María Fayos Cobos, Manager of Andalusia at TELEPARK, and Carola Herrero Lima, President of ACOPROCAMAR, renewing the collaboration agreement that the association signed in 2021 with the same company.
This marks the first step for the loyalty campaign that the Association of Merchants of the Casco Antiguo de Marbella intends to launch to promote increased patronage at local businesses by the town’s residents. The ASSOCIATION OF MERCHANTS AND PROFESSIONALS OF THE CASCO ANTIGUO DE MARBELLA acquires 2,225 one-hour parking vouchers from the company Telpark, at the price of 0.90 €, and will offer them to its members for free to gift to customers for purchases exceeding 10 € at Casco Antiguo establishments. After the agreement’s signing, the one-hour parking gift cards will be distributed to ACOPROCAMAR-associated establishments as soon as possible.
ACOPROCAMAR continues to develop various projects with the aim of establishing synergies and collaboration between entities and businesses in the city to mutually strengthen each other. Through these projects, the goal is to benefit collaborating entities, especially small businesses, families, and citizens of Marbella, who will always be the priority of the Association of Merchants of the Casco Antiguo de Marbella.
The agreement is part of the collaboration framework with the Territorial Delegation of the Ministry of Employment, Business, and Autonomous Work of Málaga of the Junta de Andalucía. This is in accordance with the Subsidy Order dated July 7, 2021, which approved the regulatory framework for competitive subsidy grants. These grants aim to promote commercial and artisanal associationism, revitalize small urban commerce, and promote the craftsmanship of Andalusia. The resolution for this 2023 subsidy was published in the Official Gazette of the Junta de Andalucía (BOJA) on December 30, 2022.
El acuerdo se encuentra englobado dentro del marco de colaboración con la Delegación Territorial de la Consejería de Empleo, Empresa y Trabajo Autónomo de Málaga de la Junta de Andalucía según la Orden de Subvención del 7 de julio de 2021 en el que se aprobaron las bases reguladoras para las Subvenciones en régimen de concurrencia competitiva destinadas a impulsar el asociacionismo comercial y artesano, a promocionar y dinamizar el pequeño comercio urbano y a promocionar la artesanía de Andalucía y que con fecha de 30 de diciembre de 2022 publicó en el BOJA la resolución para esta subvención de 2023.
